Alex is a phenomenal speaker and leader, one of her many gifts is her ability to tell her powerful story of entrepreneurship. Alex effortlessly elicits thoughtful reflection in the audience as each person is challenged to look not only at their
business model but at the whole person and how we each face our own fears, hopes, and competencies in founding, building and exiting our dream. I still get such positive feedback from her talk and how she helped people reframe
their mindset about how and why we make the choices we do in our businesses. Alex is smart, honest and powerful and can inspire and lead multi generations on the entrepreneurial journey with a blend of practical and personal actionable wisdom.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Alex as a speaker at a few events and she is absolutely amazing! As a seasoned entrepreneur who has been through the trenches of #startuplife, the journey of raising capital, and running a successful business Alex’s expertise coupled with her breadth of knowledge is rare and leaves the audience on the edge of their seats. Alex Batdorf is dynamic, engaging, and her energy is down right contagious!

Alex is a dynamo and is brimming with insights that can help aspiring professionals take their career to the next level. I had the pleasure of moderating an Ellevate Network discussion on “Succeeding in Male-Dominated Industries” in early 2018. Alex was an absolute standout – full of positive energy and savvy advice, particularly when it came to solutions for younger professionals. A terrific speaker, sharp mentor, and positive force, I know Alex will continue to make waves - and will help her clients find more purpose, satisfaction, and success in their work.”

The students were very engaged when she talked. Alex is warm and approachable; the girls were comfortable interacting with her and asking questions.
It was fun listening to Alex and learning about her journey.”

Alex is a total rockstar. This is why whenever we think of a person that we want to talk to each of our cohorts about their journey building a startup and lessons learned, Alex is #1. She has been one of my favorites because she is super honest about her challenges and a lot of the mindset shifts that have gone into building a company and recognizing when it’s time to move on. To hear her perspective is truly refreshing. When I think of someone truly following their passion, Alex comes to mind.

Alex, sat on the United Women in Business Panel we hosted at Sprout Social in 2017 and she was such a breath of fresh air. While black women entrepreneurs are on the rise, they still seem to be few and far in between, so it still feels rare to meet successful ones, and have them be real about their successes and challenges in their work. I appreciated Alex’s ability to highlight the incredible success and vision she had for ZipFit while also acknowledging what her pain points were and how we as women could better support one another. She is clearly a force to be reckoned with.
